How are the beloved family and friends doing?! hopefully so good and just enjoying the last little bit of summer while it lasts! you guys are all awesome and i love you! anyways, last week on..The District: Patulul Style...basically...nothing super interesting. I did finish reading the Book of Mormon for the second time in my life! whoo whoo! i know the Book of Mormon is true. and that its the word of God. and i love reading it. if anyone of you knows me, and knows what i like to do, reading is not something i ever did. i am just not a reader. but i cant tell you how excited i get when i wake up in the morning and think to myself...i get an hour of personal study today to read in the Book of Mormon...YES!!!! Go ahead and read it if you would like...it will change your life for the better. i promise. Secondly, we did some service!! we helped a less active family move!! they only moved like 2 blocks down the street, but we ended up helping them almost all afternoon last thursday and that was awesome! i love doing service and just helping everybody...kind of a hobby! anyways, about the investigators...so i will tell you about this nuts case we have right now. we found this family about 2 months ago, and they were super cool! accepted to be baptized and everything! comes to find out jim and jill arent married and jill is married with bob. couldnt get baptized. well...apparently jim likes to drink a little bit, so one day he goes out like normal for a drink. well then a few days go by and jim doesnt show up...normal. a week goes by and he doesnt show up...okay what is hapenning? 2 weeks, a month, and we are now on a month and a half and jim still hasnt showed up. God works in mysterious ways, but jill should be getting baptized this weekend! God works miracles. anyways, i love you all and i hope you have a great start to August and do something fun before school starts! and happy birthday to all!
